decorators would not be a problem. You have to make sure that you are hiring a
good decorator to ensure you get value for your money though. You also have to
do so to ensure that you will be happy with the end result. You investment
would not go to waste because your home would end up more beautiful and homier.
To get the best service, asking family and
friends is the best option for recommendations. Since these are people you know
and trust, their opinions would somehow be more reliable. You would also be
able to ask them as many questions as you want to ascertain whether the
interior decorator they hired is for you.
You could also use the Internet to search
for the best interior decorators in your area. Aside from a listing you would
also be provided with reviews. It would be up to you though to judge which
reviews are biased and which ones are not. You could even request for a match
from a referral service. But again, you can never be too sure as to how good
the recommended decorator is.
The answer to this is to make an ocular
inspection on the past works of the decorator. Find the work that resembles the
style of the theme or look you want to follow. One decorator could be good and
specialize in one theme but not on the theme you want. He would not be able to
deliver the same level of quality. Of course, you should discuss the project
first before hiring. This would give you an idea as to how good the decorator
is and if you think you can trust the decorator to deliver what you want.
